Honey Cake

3-1/2 cup AP flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1/2 t. nutmeg
1 T. cinnamon
1 t. all-spice
1 c honey
1-1/4 cup oil
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
3 eggs
1 T. vanilla extract
1/2 cup warm water

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, spices & 1/2 c sugar. Whisk smooth.

In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients.

Fold the wet into the dry. (don't over mix)

Pour batter into a bundt pan (spray with non-stick cooking spray). Love this pan!

Bake at 350 for about one hour, or until a toothpick inserted in, comes out clean.

Cool for 20 minutes. Invert.


1/2 c honey
1/4 c brown sugar
2 t. vanilla extract
2 oz. vegan OR real butter

Heat all ingredient to a simmer. Brush or pour over warm cake.
